HISTORY OF DHUUSAMAREEB
Dhuusamareeb is the administrative capital of Galmudug State and the seat of the Galguduud Region in central Somalia. Positioned strategically at the intersection of vital trade networks, the city has historically served as a critical commercial crossroads connecting the northern, southern, and central regions of Somalia.
Over the decades, the municipality has evolved from a traditional center of livestock trading and regional governance into a rapidly modernizing capital city, driving economic development and infrastructure growth across Galmudug State.
